VAC has just announced a travel subsidy for D-Day and Battle of Normandy veterans.
Veterans Affairs Minister Julian Fantino announced Sunday that the Conservative government will pay UP TO $2,000.00 to help surviving veterans return to the site of the invasion which marked the turning point in the Second World War.
You can apply on line and you will find the Application Form under the section marked “Travel Assistance” in the middle of the page.
