It is my sad duty to inform our Association members of the passing of Ken Withrow, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Ken he was an NCO in the Regiment back in the 70’s and then volunteered with the Cadet Corps along with his service to the Association.
He created and managed the association’s website. His attendance declined as his health took a turn for the worse.
A strong showing by all Association Members in full uniform complete with medals and poppies would be appreciated.
For those of us who knew Ken, I’m sure the family would love to hear some humorous stories of Ken, similar to the day I “shot” Ken with my SMG when it had a double feed, and a piece of brass casing hit him in the ear. It was only a flesh wound, but all the yelling!
The funeral will be a private family funeral however, the memorial service is open to all family/friends/military members.
