The Royal Regiment of Canada Association and regimental family invite you, Toronto’s Military Community and Friends, to join us for a private showing of “They Shall Not Grow Old”. An award winning and critically acclaimed documentary of the first world war.
Setting interiews from soldiers against exhaustively colourized and enhanced footage filmmaker Peter Jackson lets the men who did the fighting do the talking. Life on the front is explored and humanized through their experiences as they speak, not to its battles, but to the camaraderie, loss, hope and inedible rations of “The Great War”.
We are eager to share this critically-acclaimed film with you. All proceeds will be donated to The Royal Regiment of Canada Foundation’s Museum Fund to help us protect the artifacts and generations to come. Donations of $100.00 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Cost is $15.00 per ticket for admission. Seating is limited. We encourage you to purchase your tickets early.
